1. About This Policy
1.1 This Privacy Policy describes how Party Rips, Inc.(“Party Rips,” “we,” “us,” “our”) and our affiliates handle personal information collected through partyrips.com and any other digital property that links to this Policy (the “Service”), and through our social media presence, marketing activity, events, and the other channels described below.
1.2 Our Terms of Use and Returns & Refunds Policy govern your commercial relationship with us. This Policy governs your personal information.
2. Who Can Use the Service
2.1 The Service is intended solely for individuals aged 18 or older located in jurisdictions where we operate. It is not directed to children.
2.2 We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we hold information about a person under 18, we will close the account and delete the information in line with applicable law.
2.3 If you are a parent or guardian and believe we hold information about your child, contact us at privacy@partyrips.com and we will act promptly.

4. Personal Information We Collect
4.1 Information you provide to us
- Contact data, including your first and last name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses
- Demographic data, including your city, state, postal code, country, and date of birth
- Profile data, including your username, password, account settings, and marketing preferences
- Communications you exchange with us, whether through the Service, social media, email, or otherwise
- Shipping instructions and recipient details you supply for delivery
- Any other information you choose to provide, which we will use as described here or as disclosed to you at the time
4.2 Information generated by your use of the Service
- Transaction data, including purchases, wallet funding, packs opened, items credited to your inventory, sell-backs, Account Credit balances, and shipment records
- Support history and the outcome of any claim you make under our Returns & Refunds Policy
4.3 Information collected automatically. We, our service providers, and our partners may automatically log information about you, your device, and your activity over time, including:
- Device data, such as operating system type and version, device model, browser type, screen resolution, device type, IP address, unique identifiers including advertising identifiers, language settings, and network information
- Activity data, such as pages viewed, time spent, navigation paths, access times, referring URLs, and whether you opened our emails or clicked links in them
- Approximate location derived from your IP address, which we use to confirm you are in an eligible jurisdiction
4.4 Information from third party sources
- Identity verification providers, who return the result of a check and the reasons for a pass or fail
- Payment processors, who confirm payment, flag fraud, and notify us of disputes
- Affiliate and marketing partners, including affiliate networks, publishers, influencers, and promoters in our paid programs, who tell us which campaign referred you
- Fulfillment partners and shipping carriers, who provide tracking and delivery status
- Public sources, including government agencies, public records, and sanctions and watchlist screening services
4.5 Sensitive personal information. To meet our legal and fraud prevention obligations, identity verification requires a government-issued identification document and may require the last four digits of a Social Security number. Verification may also involve a photograph of your face compared against your identification document. We collect this only to verify identity and age, prevent fraud, and comply with law. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use or disclose it for purposes other than those permitted under applicable law.
4.6 Information about other people. If you invite someone to the Service, we collect their contact details so we can deliver the invitation. Please do not share someone else’s contact details with us unless you have their permission.
4.7 Cookies and similar technologies. Some of the collection described above uses:
- Cookies, small text files stored on your device that record browsing activity and remember your preferences and login status. We use both session cookies that expire when you leave and persistent cookies that remain, and both first party cookies we set and third party cookies set by our partners
- Local storage, which provides similar functionality but can hold more data outside your browser
- Web beacons, also called pixel tags, which record that a page was viewed or an email was opened
- Software development kits, third party code integrated into our applications for analytics, feature delivery, or advertising
5. How We Use Personal Information
5.1 Service delivery. To create and administer your account, authenticate you, process purchases, credit items to your inventory, apply Account Credit, ship items, calculate tax, handle delivery issues and claims, provide support, respond to your requests, and send transactional messages including the inventory expiry notice described in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
5.2 Verification and eligibility. To verify your identity and age and confirm you are located in a jurisdiction where we operate.
5.3 Research and development. To analyze usage, improve the Service and our business, and test and develop new features.
5.4 Marketing. To send you marketing communications where you have not opted out, and to measure how our campaigns perform. You can opt out as described in Section 9.
5.5 Compliance and protection. To comply with applicable law, lawful requests, and legal process; to meet tax, anti-money-laundering, and record-keeping obligations; to audit our internal processes; to enforce our Terms of Use; to protect our rights, property, and safety and those of our users and others, including by making and defending legal claims; and to prevent, identify, investigate, and deter fraud, multi-accounting, promotional abuse, chargeback abuse, account takeover, and other harmful or unlawful activity.
5.6 With your consent. In some cases we will ask for your consent, including where the law requires it.
5.7 De-identified and aggregated data. We may create anonymous, aggregated, or de-identified data by removing information that identifies you. We may use and share that data for lawful business purposes, and we will maintain it in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by law.
6. How We Share Personal Information
6.1 We disclose personal information to service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, for the purposes we specify and no others. Our categories of service provider are:

6.2 We also disclose personal information to:
- Affiliates. Our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated entities, for purposes consistent with this Policy
- Professional advisers. Lawyers, auditors, bankers, and insurers, where necessary to the services they provide us
- Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, regulators, and private parties, where we believe in good faith it is necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes in Section 5.5
- Business transferees. Acquirers and other participants in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, including during negotiation and diligence
- Linked third party services. If you sign in through a third party service, we may share information with it. That service’s own privacy policy and your settings there govern its use of the information
6.3 We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.
7. Cookies, Tracking, and Targeted Advertising
7.1 We use the technologies in Section 4.7 to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, measure performance, and support advertising.
7.2 Targeted advertising. We share certain identifiers and activity data with advertising platforms so that ads for Party Rips can be shown to you on other sites and apps, and so we can measure their effectiveness. Under California law this is treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, and under several other state laws it is treated as “targeted advertising” or a “sale.” You can opt out using the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the site footer or by the methods in Section 8.
7.3 Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension transmits GPC, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for the browser or device transmitting it.
7.4 You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent parts of the Service from working.
8. Your Privacy Rights
8.1 Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access. Confirm whether we process your personal information and obtain a copy
- Correct. Ask us to fix inaccurate personal information
- Delete. Ask us to delete personal information we hold about you
- Portability. Receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format
- Opt out of sale, sharing, or processing for targeted advertising
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
- Non-discrimination. We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a lesser experience because you exercised a privacy right
8.2 As of the date of this Policy, comprehensive state privacy laws are in effect in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Further states take effect in 2027. The precise scope of your rights depends on your state of residence.
8.3 How to exercise a right. Email privacy@partyrips.com from the address on your account, or use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the site footer. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will not use verification information for any other purpose.
8.4 Authorized agents. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization. We may still contact you to confirm.
8.5 Timing. We respond within 45 days, and may extend once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary. We will tell you if we need the extension.
8.6 Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the word “Appeal” and your reasons. We will respond within 45 days with our decision and the reasons for it. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.
8.7 Limits. We may decline a deletion request in whole or in part where we are required to keep information for legal, tax, anti-money-laundering, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution reasons. Where that applies we will tell you which exemption we relied on.
9. Your Choices
9.1 Review and update. You can review and update much of your account information by signing in.
9.2 Marketing opt-out. You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link, or by contacting privacy@partyrips.com. You can opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP.
9.3 Transactional messages continue. Opting out of marketing does not stop purchase confirmations, shipping updates, inventory expiry notices, security alerts, and policy changes. These are part of the Service and cannot be switched off while your account is open.
9.4 Declining to provide information. We need certain information to operate the Service and to meet our legal obligations. If you do not provide information we identify as required, we may be unable to open your account, verify you, or ship to you.
10. Other Sites and Services
10.1 The Service may link to websites, applications, and services operated by third parties. Those links are not an endorsement and do not indicate affiliation. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
11. Retention
11.1 We keep personal information for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy.
11.2 Indicative retention periods:
- Account and profile data: 7 years after account closure
- Transaction and order records: 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements
- Identity verification records: 7 years to meet anti-money-laundering and record-keeping requirements
- Support communications: 7 years
- Marketing and analytics data: 7 years
11.3 Where we no longer need personal information, we delete it or de-identify it so it can no longer reasonably be linked to you.
12. Security
12.1 We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring.
12.2 Security risk is inherent in all internet and information technology. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
12.3 If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any relevant regulator as required by law.
13. Where Information Is Processed
13.1 We are headquartered in the United States and process personal information there. Some service providers operate in other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those in your state or country. Where information is transferred internationally we require appropriate contractual protections.
14. Changes to This Policy
14.1 We may modify this Policy at any time. The current version is always posted on the Service with its effective date.
14.2 Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or an in-product notice, before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after a modified Policy takes effect indicates your acceptance of it.
